How To Create A GIF Using GIMP - (Remember, the lowest layer is the first frame)

Here is an example of what the Layer Dialog should look like : http://prntscr.com/1pr7g9 : using common sense, you can figure it out by yourself.
Stages -
 1. Choose the background of your choice (or open a picture)
 2. Access the Layers Dialog, by going to 'Windows' --> 'Dockable Dialogs', then click layers.
 3. Change the Backgrounds Attributes by right clicking the background layer and click 'Edit Layer Attributes.
 4. In the text box, type in Background (70ms)
 5. (You can use the outline tutorial for this, if you want, found in my profile [BoomradAR]) Type in your text, for this case, type 'Need An Ark?'
 6. Name the Text Layer 'Text (70ms) (combine)'
 7. Name the Outline Layer 'Outline (10ms) (combine)'
 8. Create a new layer underneath the Outline Layer and call it 'Pause (200ms) (combine)
 9. Take of on word and reapeat from 5 - 9 until you get to the last word.
10. If you want another line, do steps 5 -9 (but with a different text) but on top of the first sentence.
11. If you want to save, click 'Export' then check 'As Animation' and then click 'Export' again

P.S Gimp is free to download, a free alternative to PhotoShop, there is no free trials.
